Full Job Description

Position Title: Data and Billing Coordinator

Position Summary:

Responsible for collecting, processing, and analyzing all data collection and entry activities for a specialized data management system. Monitors and maintains data quality and implements and maintains quality control systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Responsible for managing the reporting needs of the Agency.
Problem solves needs, prioritizes day-to-day workflow of the department, database integrity, and quality control.
Processes requests for reporting by adding and correcting entries into multiple databases or computer application.
Maintains organization of received data and source documents. Compiles, sorts, interprets, and verifies data to be entered.
Contacts preparer of source documents and provides information to resolve questions, inconsistencies, and problem solve or determine missing information.
Audits submissions and databases regularly to ensure integrity.
Reviews error reports and enters corrections into computer. File and route source documents after entry as appropriate. Respond to inquiries regarding entered data. Responsible for entering and verifying provider bills.
Compiles reports timely for Leadership and providers.
Provides technical expertise in the implementation and maintenance of multiple relational database management systems for the department; monitor and coordinate databases to optimize performance and interactivity.
ACLS/Waiver reporting, status changes and NAPIS entries.
Supports achievement of Agency mission, vision, and reflects its values in work behavior.

Education and Experience:

High school diploma required.
One year of experience in data entry in a healthcare setting.
