Full Job Description

Overview
We are seeking a skilled CNC Lathe Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in machining and a keen eye for detail, ensuring that all components are produced to the highest quality standards. This role requires proficiency in operating CNC lathe machines, interpreting blueprints, and performing quality control checks throughout the manufacturing process.

Duties

Operate CNC lathe machines to produce precision parts according to specifications.
Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine machining requirements.
Utilize calipers and other measuring tools to ensure accuracy of finished products.
Conduct quality control inspections on parts to meet industry standards.
Maintain equipment by performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting as needed.
Collaborate with team members on the assembly line to ensure efficient production flow.
Program CAM software for automated machining processes when necessary.
Use hand tools and factory equipment safely and effectively, including press brake machines.

Qualifications

Proven experience in machining, specifically with CNC lathe operations.
Strong understanding of blueprint reading and technical documentation.
Proficiency in using calipers and other precision measuring instruments.
Familiarity with quality control processes and standards in a manufacturing environment.
Experience with assembly line operations is a plus.
Knowledge of CAM programming is desirable but not required.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced factory setting while adhering to safety protocols.
