Brooklyn & Long Island Offices Full-Time On-Site

THE OPPORTUNITY

A licensed home care agency where the paperwork behind every aide has to be right before they ever reach a patient.

People Care has served New York patients and families for 50 years. We employ roughly 4,300 caregivers across New York City and Long Island. This seat owns field onboarding and credentialing for our Brooklyn and Long Island aides.

WHAT YOU OWN

Field onboarding, start to finish. Paperwork complete and correct the first time, credentials and compliance items collected, nothing left half-finished between offices.
The credentialing document trail. Fingerprints, 102/103 forms, medicals and background paperwork collected, tracked and filed, so no aide works without the record behind them.
Being the People Department on Long Island. The local point of contact for aides and staff on onboarding and documentation, escalating to Brooklyn where it belongs.
Clean records. Field documentation current and audit-ready, held to the same standard as our Brooklyn office.

WHO YOU ARE

You are someone who cares deeply about the people walking through the door. You are transparent — you surface a problem early rather than hoping it resolves itself. You go beyond what the task asks when someone’s start date depends on it. You row together with Brooklyn rather than working around them.

2+ years or more in HR, People, onboarding, staffing, or a high-volume administrative coordination role.
Fluent in Chinese and English. You can hold a full working conversation with aides and their families in Chinese, and document in English.
Available to work in both Brooklyn and Long Island. This seat covers two offices.
Comfortable being the only person from your department in the building. Self-directed, and you know when to escalate.
Accurate under interruption. Documentation and compliance detail stay right even on a busy walk-in day.
Clear, calm communication with candidates, aides and colleagues — including the difficult conversations.
Comfort in a structured operating system (we run on EOS).

NICE TO HAVE

Home care, healthcare staffing, or LHCSA experience.
Familiarity with HHAeXchange or a comparable platform.
Any additional language spoken by our aide population.

People Care has served New York patients and families for 50 years. An aide cannot be sent to a patient until the record behind them is complete and correct. This seat is what makes that true, every day, for thousands of aides across Brooklyn and Long Island.

ROOM TO GROW

We are being straight with you: this is a specialist seat focused on getting the field record right. As the volume and the team grow, the natural path from here is into a senior specialist or a supervisory role on the onboarding team.

WHAT YOU GET

Full-Time Stability. 40 hours per week in a 50-year New York institution.

Direct line to leadership. You report to the VP of People — your escalations are heard by the person who can act on them.

OFFICE & SCHEDULE

You must be available to work at both. This role exists to be present in those offices, so it is not remote and not hybrid.
