Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Kitchen Manager for a new & thriving concept to oversee the daily operations of our kitchen, hire and train a new staff. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in culinary arts and kitchen management, with a passion for food safety and hospitality. As the Kitchen Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that our kitchen runs smoothly, maintaining high standards of food quality, and leading a team of culinary professionals.

Duties

Manage all aspects of kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen.
Supervise and train kitchen staff, including interviewing potential candidates and providing ongoing development.
Oversee inventory management, including ordering supplies and minimizing waste.
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service during busy periods.
Develop menus that reflect current trends while meeting customer preferences.
Maintain POS systems to track sales and manage orders efficiently.
Plan and execute banquet services as required, ensuring high-quality food service for events.

Requirements

Proven experience in kitchen management or a similar role within the hospitality industry.
Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
Experience with POS systems and inventory management tools.
Culinary degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with staff and management.
