Full Job Description

Degree in Radiologic Technology, American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) Ultrasound certification, and minimum 1+ years Imaging experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Bring your expertise in general ultrasound to a dynamic imaging environment, delivering vital diagnostic services in a patient-focused setting. This contract opportunity spans 20 weeks and is ideal for an Ultrasound Technologist/Sonographer who thrives in fast-paced clinical settings and demonstrates exceptional attention to detail in imaging and patient care.

Schedule:

20-week contract duration
4x10-hour shifts: Monday through Thursday
Hours: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Participation in call rotation is required

Qualifications:

Current certification through the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS)
Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Proven experience and proficiency with general ultrasound imaging techniques
Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with patients and healthcare staff
Capacity to adapt to changing clinical demands and to participate in call rotation as scheduled

Key Responsibilities:

Perform high-quality ultrasound exams and procedures with accuracy and efficiency
Prepare, operate, and maintain ultrasound equipment, ensuring patient safety and comfort at all times
Document findings and collaborate with physicians and other care providers for optimal patient outcomes
Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to all relevant healthcare regulations
Participate in quality assurance programs and ongoing equipment checks
Contribute to a collaborative and supportive work environment, responding promptly to call rotation assignments
