Full Job Description

NOTE: ONLY LOCAL CANDIDATES to the HILTON HEAD, BEAUFORT, BLUFFTON SC AREAS WILL BE CONSIDERED

Job Summary -

This is a temporary part-time role required to manage a special project.

In this role you will manage, assist and or support the following:

QUICKBOOKS Accounting: accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR).
Reconciliation: Reconcile bank and credit card statements
Payroll: Payroll and payroll related reporting, using QuickBooks platform
Tax Compliance: Assist with preparation of tax returns, sales tax, payroll taxes, and 1099 disbursements.

· Office Administration: Greet visitors, answer phone calls, and manage incoming email

· Data Management: Maintain digital and physical filing systems, reconcile and complete expense reports ensuring data accuracy.

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

Experience: 5 years of combined experience in bookkeeping and office administration
Computer Software Proficiency: Strong proficiency in QuickBooks Online, High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook). Experience with Dropbox and ProConnect is ideal.
Accounting Knowledge: Solid understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
Soft Skills: Strong organizational skills, interpersonal and communication skills, attention to detail, time management, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting preferred, or equivalent work experience.

Pay: From $24.00 per hour

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Bluffton, SC 29909
