Job Description

We are seeking a warm, friendly, and service-oriented Patient Relations Coordinator to serve as one of the first points of contact for our patients. This role is ideal for someone who genuinely enjoys helping others, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in creating a welcoming experience for every patient who walks through our doors. Position Summary

As a Patient Relations Coordinator, you will play an important role in creating an outstanding patient experience from the moment a patient arrives until they leave our office. You will greet patients with professionalism and warmth, assist with patient intake, coordinate appointments, and help ensure the front office operates efficiently.

Primary Responsibilities

Welcome and greet patients in a friendly, professional manner.
Assist patients with completing and updating intake and registration forms.
Verify and update patient demographic and insurance information.
Coordinate and schedule patient appointments.
Answer incoming phone calls and direct inquiries appropriately.
Maintain accurate patient records within the practice management system.
Assist patients with general questions regarding appointments and office procedures.
Become familiar with and utilize office technology, software, and communication systems.
Communicate effectively with providers and team members to ensure a seamless patient experience.
Maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.
Perform additional administrative duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Previous customer service experience required.
Previous dental or medical office experience is preferred but not required.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask.
Comfortable learning new technology and office software.
Positive attitude with a willingness to learn.
Dependable, professional, and team-oriented.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to remain calm and compassionate in a busy environment.
