Position Overview
The General Manager serves as the day-to-day face of D-BAT Beaumont — responsible for overall operations, staff leadership, sales, and community engagement. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys being hands-on, and has a passion for both sports and people. This is a leadership and growth role, perfect for someone who takes pride in building teams, setting goals, and creating a space where athletes and families feel at home.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all daily, weekly, and monthly operations — including scheduling, staffing, and facility upkeep.
- Ensure all lessons, cage rentals, and transactions are correctly charged and tracked.
- Supervise and train front desk staff; maintain a high standard of customer service and facility cleanliness.
- Drive new memberships and renewals through proactive sales efforts and community outreach.
- Plan and execute marketing campaigns for camps, clinics, and special events.
- Manage social media presence and local partnerships to expand brand visibility.
- Review sales reports, handle payroll and invoicing, and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Motivate and develop staff through consistent feedback and accountability.
- Foster a positive, professional, and family-oriented environment that reflects D-BAT’s core values.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in management, sales, or operations (sports, fitness, or membership-based business preferred).
- Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to multitask and delegate. • Customer-first mindset and a passion for helping others succeed.
- Organized, proactive, and comfortable making quick decisions.
- Knowledge of baseball or softball operations is a plus but not required.
- Must be willing to work evenings and weekends as needed.
Compensation
Base salary is dependent on experience. Performance-based bonus structure tied to key facility metrics, including membership growth, revenue performance, and customer engagement. Opportunities for salary growth and advancement based on results and tenure.
