Order Entry & Sales Support Specialist

What You'll Do

As an Order Entry & Sales Support Specialist, you'll be responsible for ensuring our customers receive accurate quotes, timely order processing, and exceptional service from start to finish.

Your responsibilities will include:

Answering incoming customer calls and providing outstanding customer service
Preparing customer quotes and verifying current pricing
Entering and processing customer sales orders accurately and efficiently
Processing Shopify and other online orders
Supporting Outside Sales Representatives with customer requests, order updates, and order entry
Reviewing orders for accuracy, including pricing, quantities, part numbers, and shipping information
Creating purchase orders for non-stock and special-order items
Monitoring inventory levels and replenishing stock as needed
Communicating with customers and vendors regarding order status, backorders, and shipping updates
Maintaining accurate product and pricing information within our ERP system
Assisting with administrative and sales support projects as needed

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who is dependable, organized, and enjoys working with both customers and teammates.

Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years of experience in customer service, order entry, inside sales, or sales support
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Outstanding customer service skills
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Strong organizational and time management skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
Experience using ERP or order management software (Business Central experience is a plus)
Experience with Shopify or another e-commerce platform is preferred
Experience working with inventory, purchase orders, or industrial products is a plus
