Job Overview
A Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) providing in-home care offers personalized assistance to clients in their own residences. This role involves supporting clients with their daily activities, ensuring their safety, and promoting overall well-being while maintaining a professional and compassionate approach.

Responsibilities:

Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
Provide mobility assistance, including transferring, turning, and walking.
Support clients with meal preparation and feeding as needed.
Administer basic health-related tasks under supervision, such as checking vital signs.
Monitor clients’ condition and report any changes to nursing staff or family members.
Provide companionship to reduce loneliness and encourage social interaction.
Maintain accurate documentation of care provided and client status.
Follow care plans and communicate effectively with family members and healthcare professionals.
Adhere to infection control and safety procedures.
Assist with light housekeeping tasks related to the client’s care.

Requirements:

Valid CNA certification/license in the state of employment.
Prior experience in home health care, healthcare, or a related field preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Compassionate, patient, and reliable.
Ability to work independently and follow detailed care plans.
Basic knowledge of health and safety regulations.
Ability to lift, assist, and support clients physically.
Flexibility to work various hours, including evenings, weekends, or overnight shifts based on client needs
