Full Job Description

GrowerOS is looking for experienced independent sales professionals who understand agriculture and know how to build relationships with growers, farm operators, packers, agricultural consultants, and produce companies.

This is a remote, commission-only independent contractor opportunity. There is no salary or hourly pay. It is best suited for an established sales agent, agricultural consultant, or small sales agency with existing industry relationships and the ability to manage its own prospecting.

ABOUT GROWEROS

GrowerOS builds custom farm-management software around each customer's operation and workflow.

Instead of forcing growers to combine multiple monthly subscriptions, pay per user, or pay extra to unlock important features, we build one connected system around exactly what the operation needs.

Customers can choose:

- Month-to-month rental

- Rent-to-own

- Outright software ownership

- Custom web, iOS, and Android applications

- Alternatives to expensive audit and compliance platforms

- Custom workflows for labor, crews, production, timecards, inventory, traceability, reporting, scheduling, and food-safety audits

Every engagement begins with a 30-minute Farm Workflow Audit. This practical conversation identifies where a farm is losing time, duplicating work, relying on spreadsheets, or paying for disconnected software.

THE OPPORTUNITY

You will introduce GrowerOS to agricultural businesses and schedule qualified Farm Workflow Audits with decision-makers.

You do not need to design or build software. GrowerOS will assist with technical discovery, demonstrations, workflow design, pricing, proposals, and implementation planning.

Your responsibility is to identify qualified opportunities, develop the relationship, understand the customer's operational challenges, and help move the opportunity toward a signed agreement.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Prospect growers, farm operators, packers, produce companies, and agricultural service businesses

- Schedule qualified 30-minute Farm Workflow Audits

- Conduct consultative discovery conversations

- Identify problems involving disconnected software, spreadsheets, duplicate data entry, compliance, labor management, traceability, reporting, and operational visibility

- Introduce prospects to the GrowerOS founder for technical discovery and solution planning

- Follow opportunities from the initial conversation through a signed agreement

- Maintain accurate notes and deal status

- Build referral relationships with agricultural consultants, accountants, auditors, associations, and other industry partners

- Represent GrowerOS professionally and avoid making unauthorized pricing or product commitments

IDEAL BACKGROUND

- Experience selling software, professional services, agricultural products, or business solutions

- Existing relationships within agriculture are strongly preferred

- Understanding of farming, produce, packing, labor management, food safety, or compliance is highly valuable

- Comfortable generating your own leads and managing a consultative sales process

- Able to communicate business problems clearly without relying on technical jargon

- Self-directed and able to control your own schedule, prospecting methods, and sales activity

- Fluent professional English and able to work with customers during United States business hours

COMPENSATION

This is a commission-only independent contractor opportunity with no salary, hourly wage, benefits, or guaranteed compensation.

- 15% of collected first-year revenue from rental and month-to-month agreements

- 10% of collected revenue from outright purchases, custom projects, and rent-to-own agreements

- 5% of collected expansion revenue from additional projects, locations, or departments

- No earnings cap

- Commission is paid after customer funds are received

- Exact commission terms will be documented in a written Independent Sales Representative Agreement

Representatives work remotely and are responsible for their own equipment, expenses, taxes, insurance, schedule, and sales methods. This is a non-exclusive opportunity. Representatives may provide services to other businesses when there is no direct conflict of interest.
