Coopers Fencing & Construction LLC is hiring a Skilled Laborer to join our growing team. We handle fencing, light construction, remodels, decks, drywall, painting, and general exterior/interior work throughout the Portland metro area. We stay busy year-round and need someone dependable who can work hard, learn fast, and produce clean, professional results.
Responsibilities include:
- Assisting with building and repairing wood and chain-link fences
- Digging post holes, mixing concrete, and setting posts
- Using hand tools and power tools safely (drivers, saws, grinders, levels, etc.)
- Basic carpentry tasks
- Loading/unloading materials and site clean-up
- Following directions and meeting project deadlines
Requirements:
- Experience in construction, fencing, or related labor
- Ability to lift 80+ lbs and work in all weather conditions
- Reliable transportation to job sites
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Ability to work independently and with a crew
Preferred (not required):
- Fence-building experience
- Basic carpentry skills
- Ability to lead a helper or knock out tasks without supervision
