Full Job Description

Compass Pain and Wellness is seeking a skilled and compassionate Doctor of Physical Therapy to join our healthcare team. We're open to full-time or part-time roles.

The ideal candidate will have a background in orthopedic and pain rehabilitation and be excited about treating patients alongside an integrated team of interventional orthopedic MDs, neuropsycholgoists, acupuncturists, massage therapists, and chiropractors, all under one roof.

This is an opportunity to become a key clinical leader within one of the nation's premier regenerative medicine and interventional pain practices. You'll work shoulder-to-shoulder with two of the country's leading interventional orthopedic physicians.

In interdisciplinary care, PT is a non-negotiable for a quality procedural outcome—we're looking for the right person to lead this critical part of our care model.

This role involves designing and implementing rehabilitation plans for patients with functional deficits and musculoskeletal issues, with a focus on enhancing overall wellbeing. It also involves periodically working with our traumatic brain injury recovery cohort to perform basic vestibular evaluations and leading basic conditioning exercises in a small cohort setting.

The right candidate will be passionate about patient care, energetic, and excited about opportunities for leadership advancement. We're looking for the right physical therapist to grow our PT program around, that includes future locations, programs, PTAs, and more.

Responsibilities

Design and implement physical therapy care plans focused on strength and conditioning and physical rehabilitation.
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
Educate patients on the benefits of physical therapy and provide guidance on complementary therapies.
Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in accordance with industry standards.
Lead small cohort classes for rehabilitation from mild neurologic injury—no experience in neuro required.

Requirements

Doctor of Physical Therapy, licensed in Oregon
Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology is essential
Excellent patient care skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations
A commitment to ongoing professional development and education in the field of physical therapy
