Full Job Description

Summary

The Regional Human Resources Manager serves as the strategic HR partner for assigned operating companies and business units within a designated region. This role is responsible for aligning human resources practices with business objectives, providing leadership and guidance on employee relations, talent management, performance management, organizational development, compliance, compensation, benefits, workforce planning, and HR operations. The Regional HR Manager collaborates closely with executive leadership, managers, and employees to foster a positive, compliant, and high-performing workplace culture while supporting organizational growth and operational excellence.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Strategic HR Partnership

Serve as the primary HR business partner for assigned operating companies and regional leadership teams.
Provide consultative guidance to executives and managers regarding organizational effectiveness, workforce planning, employee engagement, succession planning, and talent development.
Align HR initiatives with divisional and corporate business strategies.
Partner with leadership to identify and address workforce challenges and opportunities.

Employee Relations & Performance Management

Advise managers on employee relations matters, conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, investigations, and performance improvement plans.
Conduct and document workplace investigations while ensuring consistency, fairness, and legal compliance.
Support leaders in performance management processes, employee development, and retention strategies.
Promote positive employee experience and culture across all assigned business units.

Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning

Partner with Talent Acquisition and hiring managers to support recruiting strategies and workforce planning initiatives.
Assist with leadership and critical-role succession planning.
Support onboarding, assimilation, and retention efforts for new employees.

HR Compliance

Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
Provide guidance regarding company policies, procedures, and best practices.
Monitor HR-related risks and recommend corrective actions when necessary.
Maintain compliance with employment documentation, recordkeeping, and reporting requirements.

Compensation, Benefits & HR Programs

Partner with HR leadership on compensation reviews, market analyses, and salary recommendations.
Support benefit administration and employee education efforts.
Assist with implementation and communication of HR programs, policies, and initiatives.
Participate in performance reviews, merit increases, and open enrollment processes.

Organizational Development & Change Management

Lead and support organizational change initiatives.
Facilitate leadership coaching and management development efforts.
Identify training needs and coordinate employee development programs.
Support employee engagement initiatives and action planning efforts.

HR Operations & Reporting

Utilize HRIS and other systems to manage employee data, reporting, and analytics.
Prepare reports and analyses related to workforce metrics, turnover, engagement, and compliance.
Recommend process improvements and support HR system optimization efforts.
Partner with HR leadership on special projects and strategic initiatives.

Supervisory Responsibilities

May supervise Human Resources Generalists, HR Specialists, Coordinators, or other assigned HR team members. Provides coaching, guidance, performance feedback, and development support to direct reports. Assists in building and developing a high-performing HR team.

Qualifications

Minimum of 8 years of experience in a Regional Human Resources Manager capacity.
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Hands-on, intermediate-level experience using ADP Workforce Now HRIS.
Willingness and ability to travel up to 25% of the time to support regional locations; additional travel may be required during peak business periods.
Ability to work primarily from the assigned business unit location while providing regional support and traveling as needed.
Strong commitment to supporting multiple locations and partnering with leadership to address HR-related needs across the region.

Pay: $135,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
