Centra Health is hiring in their Ground Transport Department!

Positions: Paramedics & Critical Care Paramedics!

Schedule: Full Time, part time, variable shifts, nights, and weekends

Facility: Lynchburg General Hospital, Southside Community Hospital, Gretna Medical Center and Bedford Memorial Hospital

Location: Lynchburg, VA Farmville, VA Gretna, VA and Bedford, VA

BONUS ELIGIBLE – FOR FULL TIME NIGHT SHIFTS!!

Required Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED
Virginia Paramedic or EMT-Intermediate certification required.
American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support
American Heart Association Pediatric Advanced Life Support
American Heart Association Healthcare Provider CPR required.
Virginia Association of Volunteer Rescue Squads or Virginia Department of Fire Programs Emergency Vehicle Operations Certificate required.
Hazardous Materials Awareness required within the first year of employment.
Federal Emergency Management Agency Incident Command System 100, 200, and 700

Preferred Qualifications:

Associate degree in healthcare or related field
Previous pre-hospital EMS or transport experience
National registry paramedic.
Critical care transport experience or BREMS Advanced Paramedic course
