Welder — Accuracy Laser and Fabrication Bedford, IN | Full Time

Accuracy Laser is a growing contract manufacturing shop in Bedford. We're looking to add a skilled welder to the team who's motivated and interested in what we do.

What you'll do The main role is welding — MIG on a variety of parts and assemblies, along with fitting, deburring, and prepping parts for paint. We're a lean crew, so there will occasionally be other tasks outside of welding that come up and need an extra hand. As you settle in, there's plenty of room to grow into other areas of the shop like the press brake and laser if you're interested — but the core of the job is welding. If you take pride in your work and want to build a long-term spot on a growing team, you'll fit in well here.

What we're looking for

1+ years of full-time work experience preferred.
Solid MIG welding skills — you'll need to pass a hands-on weld test.
Comfortable with fitting and deburring as part of the daily routine.
Reliable attendance. We count on each other to show up.
Comfortable with a tape measure, reading prints, and basic shop math.
Attention to detail. Our work goes out to customers, so getting it right matters.
Comfortable with everyday technology like touchscreens and tablets. We run a modern shop.
Self-motivated. We appreciate people who take initiative and want to grow.
Able to lift 50+ lbs and stand for extended periods.
Drug-free workplace (pre-employment and random testing).

Nice to have, not required

Press brake or forklift experience.
SolidWorks or any CAD exposure — our shop floor uses 3D viewing programs alongside 2D prints. (You won't be expected to 3D model; just having seen 3D models before is a plus.)

What we offer

Fast pay growth for strong performers — raises are 100% based on performance, not time served. It's not unusual for a welder here to go from around $17/hr to $23+/hr within their first year, and there's no cap — if you're a top performer, we'll pay like it.

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
