, Job Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Office Manager / Bookkeeper to oversee daily office operations and manage financial records. This role requires a versatile individual with strong administrative, bookkeeping, and team management skills to ensure the smooth functioning of our office environment. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and organizational skills, along with experience in office management and bookkeeping practices, including familiarity with QuickBooks. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to a dynamic team while maintaining efficient office workflows.

Duties

Manage daily office operations, including front desk responsibilities and phones
Perform bookkeeping tasks using QuickBooks, including accounts payable/receivable, invoicing, and expense tracking.
Manage payroll processing and human resources functions, including employee records and benefits administration.
Coordinate event planning and logistics for company meetings or special events.
Supervise administrative staff, providing training & development opportunities to enhance team performance.
Maintain filing systems for documents, records, and compliance purposes
Ensure office supplies are stocked and equipment is maintained in good working order
Uphold professional communication standards through phone etiquette and client interactions

Qualifications

Proven experience in office management, clerical, or administrative roles within a professional setting
Strong bookkeeping skills with proficiency in QuickBooks or similar accounting software
Supervising experience with the ability to lead and motivate team members effectively
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in scheduling, filing, and record keeping
Knowledge of human resources functions, including payroll processing and employee management
Experience in event planning and vendor management is preferred
Exceptional communication skills both verbal and written; professional phone etiquette essential
Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Background in medical office management or similar specialized fields is a plus
Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information discreetly

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
