Full Job Description

Job Summary

Bella Christie’s is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Event Setup Specialist to support logistics for our weddings, catering events, and special celebrations. This role combines the responsibilities of an event setup professional and delivery driver, ensuring products are transported safely, deliveries are completed accurately, and event stations are professionally set up to meet Bella Christie’s high standards.

This position plays a vital role in creating seamless and memorable event experiences. The ideal candidate is reliable, organized, customer-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where timeliness, presentation, and exceptional service matter.

What You'll Do

Deliver & Transport Event Orders

Safely transport catering orders, wedding cakes, desserts, and event materials to venues throughout the Pittsburgh area.
Confirm all items are accurate and complete before departing for deliveries.
Load and unload products carefully to maintain quality and presentation.
Follow delivery schedules to ensure all orders and events arrive on time.

Event setup and Breakdown

Professionally set up dessert stations, event displays, and catering materials according to event instructions.
Ensure every setup reflects Bella Christie's standards and exceeds client expectations.
Assist with breakdown and return of event materials following celebrations.
Communicate professionally with venue staff, wedding coordinators, and event planners on-site.

Support Store & Logistics Operations

Pick up groceries, supplies, and products needed for daily operations and events.
Assist the Event Coordinator with logistics, deliveries, and on-site event needs.
Help maintain the organization and cleanliness of the storage garage, delivery vehicles, and bakery as directed.
Restock event materials and supplies.
Assist with order packaging, ingredient restocking, errands, and additional store operations as needed.

Maintain Professionalism & Customer Experience

Represent Bella Christie's with a positive, professional attitude at all times.
Provide friendly, courteous service to clients, venue partners, and vendors.
Handle unexpected changes calmly and efficiently.
Communicate clearly with team members regarding timelines, deliveries, and event updates.

Qualification & Skills

Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record required.
High School Diploma or GED preferred.
One year of delivery, catering, hospitality, event setup, banquet, or customer service experience preferred but not required.
English fluency required.
Strong time management and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Reliable, punctual, detail-oriented, and professional.

Physical Requirements

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Frequent standing, bending, lifting, and walking.
Comfortable driving throughout the workday.
Ability to work indoors and outdoors during event setup.
Hands occasionally exposed to water.

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
