What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to personnel, contractors, and visitors by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a chemical/petrochemical location.
Monitor access points, verify credentials and authorization, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and direct individuals in accordance with site requirements.
Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, restricted areas, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized entry and identify security-related concerns.
Complete required reports, logs, and documentation related to access activity, incidents, and site observations.

Minimum Requirements:

At least one year of security-related experience is required.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
