Responsibilities
As a Veterinary Technician, you will:
- Assist veterinarians during appointments and surgical procedures.
- Monitor anesthesia and provide attentive perioperative patient care.
- Perform laboratory diagnostics, including sample collection, preparation, and processing.
- Safely and confidently restrain dogs and cats using fear-conscious handling techniques whenever possible.
- Administer treatments and medications as directed.
- Maintain accurate medical records.
- Educate clients with confidence, compassion, and professionalism.
- Keep treatment areas organized and maintain high standards of cleanliness and patient safety.
- Work collaboratively with the veterinary team to provide efficient, high-quality patient care.
