About us

Atlas Naturopathic Health Center is a small business in Rockport, ME. We are professional, caring, professional and our goal is to Atlas Naturopathic Clinic is dedicated to providing holistic and individualized care to our patients. Our team is committed to promoting wellness and improving quality of life through natural and integrative treatments.

Position Overview: As our Medical Receptionist, you will be the face of Atlas Naturopathic Clinic, creating a warm and welcoming environment for patients. You’ll handle a variety of administrative tasks with a focus on exceptional customer service, helping to ensure smooth clinic operations and a positive patient experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet and check-in patients with a friendly and professional demeanor.
Manage phone calls, emails, and online inquiries, addressing questions and scheduling appointments.
Handle patient records with confidentiality and accuracy, including data entry.
Coordinate with medical staff to ensure timely and efficient patient flow.
Process payments, handle billing inquiries, and manage patient accounts.
Maintain a clean and organized office area, ensuring a pleasant environment for patients.
Assist with administrative tasks, such as filing, faxing, and managing office supplies.
Provide information about our services, treatments, and payment options to patients.
Operate and oversee sauna services, ensuring safe, efficient use and positive guest experience.
3 days per week (Mon, Tues, Thurs)

Qualifications:

Previous experience as a medical receptionist or in a similar administrative role preferred.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with a positive attitude.
Proficiency in using office software and electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively.
A genuine interest in holistic health and naturopathic medicine is a plus.
High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications or education in healthcare administration is a plus.
