Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Facilities Manager to oversee the maintenance and management of our facilities. Lodge Lumber is a Manufacturer of industrial forestry products. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all systems operate efficiently and effectively, providing a safe and functional environment for all employees. This role requires strong leadership skills, technical knowledge in industrial maintenance, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Duties

Supervising and leading all maintenance processes and operations.
Supervising and leading a team of maintenance professionals.
Tracking expenses and overseeing the budget for maintenance.
Maintaining all machinery and equipment to ensure it’s at working standards.
Maintaining all facilities, buildings and grounds.
Creating and implementing maintenance procedures.
Conduct regular inspections of the facilities to detect and resolve problems.
Planning and managing all repair and installation activities.
Ensuring all department workers adhere to the safety policies and procedures.
Assigning repair schedules and evaluating repair cost estimates.
Documenting and preparing daily progress reports and maintenance logs.
Overseeing equipment stock and placing orders for new supplies when necessary.
Ensuring the Maintain X software is being fully utilized.
Using data analysis to prepare for and prevent future problems.

Qualifications

Proven experience in facilities management or a related field, with a strong background in industrial maintenance.
Proficiency in managing HVAC systems, electrical systems, plumbing, general building operations, hydraulics, 3 phase electrical, diesel motors, and welding
Familiarity with logic controllers, schematics, voltmeters, and ohmmeters is essential.
Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills to interact with team members, contractors, and stakeholders effectively.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
