Bellefonte Home Showcase is seeking a creative, organized, and customer-focused Showroom Manager & Design Consultant to lead our remodeling showroom inside Bellefonte Building Supply.
This is a unique opportunity for someone who enjoys both design and operations. You’ll work directly with homeowners, builders, and remodeling contractors to guide them through product selections while ensuring our showroom remains an inspiring, well-organized destination for customers throughout Central Pennsylvania.
Whether someone is remodeling a bathroom, building a custom kitchen, or selecting finishes for an entire home, you’ll help them confidently navigate the process from inspiration to product ordering.
What You’ll Do
Design & Customer Experience
- Meet with homeowners and contractors to understand their project goals and budget.
- Guide customers through product selections including: Cabinetry, Flooring, Tile, Countertops, Plumbing fixtures, Decorative hardware and Lighting
- Create cohesive finish palettes that reflect each customer’s style and needs.
- Help customers visualize how products work together to create beautiful spaces.
- Provide exceptional customer service from the initial consultation through final ordering.
Showroom Management
- Maintain an organized, clean, and welcoming showroom environment.
- Keep displays current, attractive, and reflective of design trends.
- Coordinate updates, merchandising, and seasonal refreshes of showroom displays.
- Ensure product samples are organized, labeled, and readily available.
- Work with vendors to obtain new displays, samples, and product information.
Sales & Operations
- Prepare product quotes and assist with estimating.
- Enter and manage product orders accurately.
- Coordinate with vendors regarding pricing, lead times, and order status.
- Follow up with customers throughout the purchasing process.
- Work closely with the Bellefonte Building Supply sales team to provide a seamless customer experience.
- Support contractors by helping clients make finish selections that keep projects moving efficiently.
What We’re Looking For
We’re less concerned with having every qualification on day one than we are finding someone with the right combination of creativity, organization, and people skills.
The ideal candidate will have:
- A passion for interior design and remodeling.
- A strong eye for color, texture, and coordinating finishes.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- The ability to stay organized while managing multiple customer projects.
- Confidence helping customers make design decisions.
- Strong computer skills and attention to detail.
- A positive, team-oriented attitude.
Experience Preferred
- Interior design
- Kitchen & bath design
- Flooring, cabinetry, or tile sales
- Showroom management
- Residential construction or remodeling
- Retail sales in home finishes or furnishings
Knowledge of ProKitchen Design, cabinet software, or similar design programs is a plus, but not required.
