Full Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking a Mechanical Engineering Designer and Sales Support professional to join our team. In this role, you will combine technical expertise with proactive customer satisfaction and business growth. You will be responsible for designing mechanical components and systems, providing technical guidance. Your energetic approach will help us build strong client relationships while ensuring seamless project execution from concept to completion. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in engineering design, and client engagement in a comfortable yet.

Responsibilities

Develop detailed mechanical designs and specifications for engineering projects, ensuring alignment with client needs and industry standards
Support the sales team by providing technical expertise during pre-sales activities.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as engineering, product management, and customer support to create comprehensive solutions that meet client requirements.
Sketch and draw up designs using input from engineers and sales
Finalize approvals and design prints.
Provide support during the building process, ensuring that the equipment is built properly and according to design specifications.
Conduct analysis of client needs and technical requirements.
Maintain strong client relationships through effective communication, timely support along with detail and project follow ups.
Excel experience helpful
Flexible approach to work and the ability to adapt to change
Ability to work in a team environment.
Requirements
Three+ years experience in design or related experience. Will consider training the right person.
Strong mechanical engineering background with proficiency in designing using Auto CAD and Solid Works software and understanding of engineering principles.
Technical proficiency in computer networking.
Hands-on experience with sales engineering solution design, product demonstrations, and customer support activities.
Effective project management skills with the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities simultaneously
Strong communication skills for engaging clients professionally while maintaining a positive, energetic attitude.

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
