Full Job Description

About the position

Monneus Group LLC is seeking a qualified Executive Assistant to provide administrative and clerical support to senior leadership at the Office of the Staff Judge Advocate, 55th Wing, Offutt Air Force Base, Nebraska.

This is a full-time, on-site position supporting a single Air Force legal office. The selected candidate will serve as the primary administrative point of contact between office leadership and external agencies, manage executive calendars and correspondence, and handle sensitive documents with complete discretion.

This position is contingent upon contract award. Anticipated start is on or about 30 September 2026.

What you will do

Manage calendars, scheduling, and meeting coordination for office leadership
Serve as the primary point of contact between leadership and external agencies
Prepare, edit, and maintain emails, correspondence, documents, reports, presentations, and briefing materials
Track deadlines, deliverables, and suspense items requiring timely completion
Perform general data entry and maintain electronic records, including scanning and uploading
Answer phone, email, and in-person inquiries and direct them appropriately
Attend meetings and conferences and follow up with leadership as requested
Handle sensitive personnel and legal documents in accordance with applicable laws and guidance
Maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive, strategic, and personal information with absolute discretion
Apply administrative information management practices, office procedures, and military protocol
Maintain professional working relationships with installation and community agencies

Minimum qualifications (all required)

Associate's degree in any field. This is a firm requirement and cannot be substituted with additional experience.
At least one year of clerical or data entry experience obtained in an office setting.
At least one year of experience working in a military environment. Experience with the Department of Defense, a military installation, a military unit, or as an active duty service member, National Guard or Reserve member, military spouse in a base-supporting role, or DoD contractor qualifies. Experience at the Department of Veterans Affairs does not satisfy this requirement.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.
Ability to read, understand, speak, and write English fluently to communicate effectively with customers and staff, in person and by telephone.
United States citizenship. Required for base access and the security investigation.
Ability to obtain and maintain a favorable security investigation and a Common Access Card. The position requires eligibility for a Secret security clearance. Candidates who already hold an active clearance are strongly encouraged to apply.

Preferred qualifications

Prior experience supporting a military legal office, staff judge advocate office, or command section
Active or recently current Secret clearance or favorable National Agency Check
Prior experience at Offutt AFB or with Air Combat Command
Familiarity with military correspondence formats, suspense tracking, and records management

Schedule and location

On-site at Offutt AFB, Nebraska. This position is not remote. Occasional ad-hoc telework may be authorized at the Government's discretion using Government-furnished equipment.
Normal duty hours are Monday through Friday, 0900 to 1700, with a one-hour paid meal period. A 0800 to 1600 schedule may be accommodated.
Federal holidays observed. Office closed on federal holidays.
