Full Job Description

Overview

Twin Lakes Golf Course & Restaurant is seeking an experienced, motivated, and hands-on General Manager / Bartender to lead evening operations, oversee staff, manage events, and provide exceptional guest service. This leadership position combines management responsibilities with bartending duties, offering the opportunity to earn tips in addition to a competitive hourly wage based on experience. As a year-round public golf course and restaurant, Twin Lakes serves guests throughout all seasons and hosts a variety of golf outings, banquets, and special events.

Duties

Oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, ensuring smooth service and exceptional guest experiences
Manage staff schedules, training, and performance to foster a motivated and efficient team
Prepare and serve a wide variety of beverages, including cocktails, wine, craft beers, and spirits
Monitor cash handling, daily reporting, and operational procedures
Maintain food safety standards and ensure proper food handling procedures are followed
Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, addressing concerns promptly, and creating a welcoming atmosphere
Coordinate, plan, and oversee private events, golf outings, banquets, and special functions
Manage inventory levels for beverages and supplies; place orders as needed to ensure stock availability
Uphold cleanliness standards across the bar and dining areas in compliance with health regulations
Work closely with ownership to improve operations, increase sales, and enhance guest experiences
Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays

Experience

Proven restaurant management experience with strong leadership skills in a fast-paced environment
Extensive bartending background
Demonstrated ability in food service operations, including serving, food safety practices, and retail math calculations
Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy hours
Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic approach that enhances guest satisfaction
Knowledge of hospitality industry standards along with banquet or catering experience is a plus
