Overview
We are looking for a friendly and organized Patient Care Coordinator/translator (specifically Chinese - Mandarin and/or Cantonese) to join our dental team. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a quick learner. The Patient Care Coordinator will be responsible for managing patient interactions, scheduling appointments, and providing administrative support for our team.

Duties

Serve as a point of contact for patients, addressing inquiries and providing information regarding services.
Schedule and confirm patient appointments, ensuring optimal use of the office calendar.
Maintain accurate patient records and manage documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.
Assist patients with insurance verification and billing inquiries.
Collaborate with dental staff to ensure seamless patient care and follow-up.
Utilize medical terminology to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals.
Perform general office duties such as filing, data entry, and maintaining a clean work environment.
Support the dental or medical office in daily operations to enhance patient satisfaction.

Requirements

Previous experience in medical/dental administrative support or a similar role is preferred.
Knowledge of medical/dental terminology is essential for effective communication within the office.
Experience working in a dental office or medical office setting is highly desirable.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact professionally with patients and staff.
Proficient in using office software and electronic health record systems.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
