Full Job Description

Job Title: Participant Recruiter - 12-month Temporary Contract Position

Rainier Clinical Research Center (RCRC) was founded in 1991. Since that time, we have participated in more than 600 Phase I-IV clinical trials involving thousands of patients. The Patient Recruitment Coordinator contacts potential clinical trial participants, interviews them to see if they are eligible for research, and coordinates the recruitment for multiple projects (up to 40 a year). S/he ensures Rainier Clinical Research Center meets all of its required patient contract. This position is ideal for a sociable professional seeking a fast paced, challenging career and is interested in health care.

Reports to: Recruitment Lead

Responsibilities:

Recruits participants for clinical research studies
Interviews prospective candidates explaining side effects, benefits, qualifications and patient stipend for time and travel
Contact between 20-50 people a day
Schedule participants for clinical trials
Prepares screening questionnaires that outline patient eligibility
Manages the Clinical Trial Management Software
Meets and goes beyond study contract goals
Markets and manages clinical trials on social media
Blogs regularly about our company through company sponsored social media accounts
Presents healthcare related information at community functions and health fairs.

Requirements Education & Experience

Bachelor's degree preferred
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram preferred
Medical Terminology knowledge experience preferred
Medical Assistant experience preferred

Required Skills:

Excellent communication skills, communication, multitasking, interpersonal and listening skills
Ability to make quick but well-thought out decisions, and adapt to changing environments and requirements
Self-motivated and ability to work well independently as well as using a collaborative team approach
Ability to adhere to established timelines, processes and procedures

Must be willing to work at our office in Renton, WA

Company Education Allowance:

Education Grant - Employees are eligible for a $200 education grant after one year of employment to be used for professional development or continuing education courses related to medical or research activities.
Tuition reimbursement - Employees who have worked for the Company for a minimum of two years will be eligible for tuition reimbursement of 50% of the cost of tuition up to a maximum of $1500 per year to be reimbursed for professional development programs or courses related to medical or research activities. to receive the education allowance.
Educational Reimbursement for Professional Employees (MD, ARNP, RN, or RD). Professional employees who are required to complete a certain number of educational hours to maintain their licensure will be reimbursed to the limits specified in the Company Educational Allowance. The licensure that is being maintained must be a credential that is utilized for employment with the Company such as a MD, ARNP, RN or RD license.

Compensation: $21- $25 per hour

This is a temporary contract position for 1 year.
