Title: Medical Laboratory Technician, ASCP
Location: FCN Laboratory Services
Position: Full-time, non-exempt (hourly). This position requires alternating between day and evening shifts on a weekly or biweekly basis. Scheduled hours are 7:30am-3:00pm for day shifts and 1:30pm-10:00pm for evening shifts.
Compensation: The full wage scale is $25.75 - $35.45 per hour. We also offer a $3.00 per hour shift differential for eligible evening and weekend hours. Placement within the wage range is determined by the candidate’s relevant experience.

Under the supervision of the Laboratory Services Manager and in conjunction with the medical technologists, performs test analysis on patient specimens including blood, urine, culture samples and other body fluids. Performs test analysis on quality control samples, proficiency samples and performs equipment maintenance. Performs all duties in a manner that promotes and supports the Core Values of Family Care Network.

Associate Degree, Medical Laboratory Technician or in related health sciences
Must be ASCP or equivalently licensed as a Medical Laboratory Technician
Medical laboratory experience preferred.
Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to: climb stairs; balance, stoop, kneel, crouch. Employee is regularly required to: stand; walk and sit for long periods of time; use hand to finger coordination, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk or hear. The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 30 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, the ability to adjust and focus and discern colors.
Immunization Requirements:
Employees are required to meet immunization standards in accordance with federal, state, and organizational health and safety guidelines, as applicable to the role. A simple process is in place for employees to request exemptions for medical or religious reasons.
