We are looking for a skilled, multi-faceted Craftsman to join our team in Pensacola. In this role, you will help homeowners and local businesses throughout Escambia and Santa Rosa County maintain, repair, and improve their properties. This is a full-time, W-2 position that offers the independence of field work alongside the stability, support, and steady hours of an established, locally owned business backed by the national Ace Hardware brand.
If you love working with your hands, solving problems, and seeing the immediate results of your work—all while maintaining a healthy work-life balance with a Monday-through-Friday schedule—this role is built for you.
On a day-to-day basis, you will arrive at our office or head straight to your first job in a company-provided van. You will handle a variety of small-to-medium home repair and improvement projects, from patching drywall and fixing trim to swapping out light fixtures or repairing tile. You will interact directly with customers, explaining the scope of work and ensuring they are satisfied with the final result.
Over time, success in this role means becoming a trusted face in the community, working efficiently to complete jobs on schedule, and maintaining a high standard of craftsmanship. As you grow with us, you will have opportunities to take on more complex projects and advance your career into leadership or specialized roles within the company.

- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area on every job site.
- Manage your time efficiently to complete daily scheduled jobs.
- Experience: 5 or more years of hands-on experience in carpentry, handyman work, or residential remodeling.
- Tools: Your own reliable set of standard hand and power tools fit for daily remodeling and repair tasks.
- Skills: Solid, demonstrable skills in multiple trades (carpentry, drywall, and basic home repairs).
- Customer Service: Strong communication skills and a professional, respectful demeanor when working in customers' homes.

- Prior experience estimating job material costs and timeframes.
- Work-Life Balance: A structured Monday through Friday schedule (8:00 AM to 5:00 PM) with no weekend work required.
- Stability: W-2 employee status with consistent hours, competitive pay, performance incentives, and paid vacation.
