Full Job Description

The Manufacturing Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the manufacturing process to ensure products are produced efficiently, safely, cost-effectively, and in compliance with cGMP, company SOPs, and regulatory requirements. This role provides leadership to production teams, develops production plans, manages resources, and
drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

▪ Develop and implement production plans and schedules to meet business objectives and
customer demand
▪ Oversee all aspects of the manufacturing process, including production setup, formulation
operations, and packaging support
▪ Ensure strict compliance to cGMP procedures, company SOPs, quality & safety standards and
regulatory requirements
▪ Lead, train, and develop production personnel, promoting accountability and professional
growth
▪ Monitor productions performance and implement corrective actions when necessary
▪ Identify and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, labor
utilization, and material efficiency
▪ Ensure accurate and complete production and batch records
▪ Conduct regular audits and inspections to maintain compliance with safety and regulatory
requirements
▪ Collaborate with Quality, Formulation, Maintenance, and Supply Chain teams to ensure
seamless operations

Authority & Decision - Making Power

▪ Approve production schedules and resources allocation
▪ Halt production in case of quality, safety, or compliance risks
▪ Implement corrective and preventive measures in coordination with Quality
▪ Recommend process improvements, technology upgrades, or new equipment investments

Qualifications, Skills & Competencies

▪ Bachelor´s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Chemistry, operations
management, or a related field (preferred), include relevant educational background or
experience

▪ Strong leadership and team management skills, with proven ability to motivate and guide
personnel
▪ In-depth understanding of cGMP and regulatory compliance
▪ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
▪ Proficiency in production management systems and business software
▪ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
▪ Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment
▪ Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing certification (preferred)

Experience Training & Certifications

▪ Minium 5 years of experience in a manufacturing leadership role within a regulated industry
(cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, food, or dietary supplements preferred)
▪ Demonstrated track record of achieving production goals while ensuring compliance and safety
▪ Previous training in GMPs, hygiene, and workplace safety
▪ Ongoing professional development in leadership, operational excellence, and quality systems

Physical / Work Environment Requirements

▪ Ability to work in a production environment with machinery, noise, and controlled substances
▪ Capability to stand and walk for extended periods while supervising production activities
▪ Availability for extended hours, shifts, or weekends when required by production needs
▪ Use PPE (gloves, gown, hairnet, etc) in compliance with company and regulatory requirements

Pay: $55,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
