Full Job Description

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Front Desk Agent to join our team at our hotel. The agent plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the front desk during evening hours. This position involves managing guest check-ins and check-outs, handling financial transactions, and providing exceptional customer service to ensure a pleasant experience for all guests. The ideal candidate will possess strong hospitality skills and be comfortable working independently.

Needs to be able to work 3-11 wed. and thurs. and 7-3 sat. and sun.

Responsibilities

Perform procedures, including balancing daily transactions.
Manage guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently while ensuring accuracy in billing and payment processing.
Provide outstanding customer service by addressing guest inquiries, resolving issues, and offering assistance as needed.
Maintain a clean and organized front desk area, ensuring all necessary supplies are stocked.
Utilize phone systems effectively to handle incoming calls, take reservations, and provide information to guests.
Assist with guest relations by fostering a welcoming environment and promoting hotel amenities.
Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure seamless operations.

Requirements

Previous experience in hospitality or hotel management is preferred.
Familiarity with computer processes is a plus.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and staff.
Proficient in using phone systems and basic computer software for managing reservations and financial transactions.
Multilingual abilities are an advantage for enhancing guest relations.
Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills to create positive interactions with guests.
Ability to work independently during hours while maintaining attention to detail in all tasks.
Able to work 3-11 Wednesday and Thursday and 7-3 Saturday and Sunday
