JOB TITLE: Low voltage technician - Looking for an experienced Alarm technician will train on other systems.

EMPLOYER: Select Living Systems LLC

DEPARTMENT: Rough in/ Finish

REPORTS TO: Operations Manager

EFFECTIVE DATE: 9/15/2018

SUMMARY: To provide quality low voltage wiring and systems in builder and client homes.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Job Accuracy & Schedules:

working in new home construction, wiring low voltage. TV, Internet, Audio and Security. Established company in business 24 years.

Follows designs and drawings accurately
Wires brackets at the correct height and alignment
Installs components with accurate and level placement of plates, speakers, keypads, enclosures, TVs, Speakers and any other component devices to be installed.
Picks up all wire scraps/trash and places in dumpster or garage (if no dumpster available)
Follows all site rules and regulations – see site rules and regulations

Communication:

Notifies Operations Manager immediately if another trades materials are damaged, such as, electrical wires, plumbing pipes, roofing, ceilings, etc.
Notifies operations manager of anything incomplete, including pictures, and why at the end of the job
Contacts operations manager with questions
Works with other trades on placement to not interfere with each other

Time Management:

Shows up, on time, and completes his or her jobs as shown on schedule
Completes jobs on first visit
Makes decisions based on changes in the field.
Performs other related duties as assigned by management
Finds best route to and from job sites

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

QUALIFICATIONS:

High School diploma or GED, or one to three months related experience and /or training, or equivalent combination of education experience
Certificates, licenses and registrations required: WHEN APPLICAL
Computer skills required: google calendar, Gmail, time station app (or one similar), tablet operations along with required apps
Clean driving record
Clean criminal record
