Full Job Description

Encompass Medical Group is a primary care provider group and is dedicated to only the highest standards of healthcare excellence as exemplified in all five of our offices located throughout the Kansas City metro area.

Encompass Medical Group is currently recruiting for a Supervisor of Clinic Services (LPN/RN) position within our Hickman Mills office. This is a full time position.

Position Summary: Assists the Office Manager and associates with administrative support for the office. Acts as a liaison between the staff, patients, outside affiliated facilities, and vendors.

Position Accountabilities:

Maintains confidentiality of all medical and administrative information.
Assists the Office Manager with collecting and compiling of information for monthly reports.
Attends meetings, as needed.
Assists with compiling and recording payroll information to include updating employee time accruals in the absence of the Office Manager.
Begins initial investigation into patient complaints in the absence of the Office Manager, and reports directly to Office Manager.
Responsible for medical equipment supply ordering and periodic maintenance in the office.
Acts as a resource person for all office employees.
Provides information and assistance to patients as needed.
Disseminates appropriate information throughout the center as directed by the Office Manager.
Conducts medical in-services and remedial training as needed.
Attends to clinic emergencies and assists with transport as needed.
Provides feedback to the Office Manager on quality of clinical staff performance.

Performs other duties as assigned or requested.

Job Specifications:

Minimum Education

LPN or RN license required

Minimum Experience

Previous management experience in the medical field preferred
Previous experience working in a clinical environment preferred

Skills – Administrative

Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with administrative personnel, peers, and patients
Excellent computer skills to include Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Access
Effective oral and written communication skills
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Superior organizational skills

Working Conditions/Physical Demands:

May be required to travel to other offices in the KC metro
Job duties require standing or walking 50%, sitting 50%
Requires some lifting, stooping, and walking
Minimal exposure of chemicals, body fluids, or bloodborne pathogens
