General Description
Advocate Health Advisors is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Full Stack Developer with a passion for technology and problem-solving to join our dynamic team. Based in Venice, Florida, Advocate Health Advisors was established in 2005 with the mission to transform the Medicare experience for Americans nationwide. As a key member of our technology team, you will collaborate with a dedicated and agile team to architect, implement, test, and continuously deliver innovative features and products to our agents. By joining Advocate Health Advisors, you will be part of a fast-paced, thriving organization that provides health insurance to thousands of Medicare-eligible individuals across the country through our national network of independent insurance agents.

Responsibilities

Utilize programming languages such as HTML/CSS, JavaScript, SQL, Svelte, Flutter, and C#.
Demonstrate proficiency in C# and Visual Studio.
Experience with GitHub, Open-Source RDBMS, and a variety of cloud tools and services.
Collaborate with and across Agile teams to design, develop, test, implement, and support technical solutions in full-stack development tools and technologies.
Provide hands-on leadership while actively participating in collaborative assessments and design.
Participate in design and code reviews to maintain high development standards.
Make decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approaches for project components, with minimal direction.
Develop and maintain mobile applications, ensuring seamless integration with backend services.
Design and implement APIs to support mobile and web applications.
Create engaging user interactions through innovative use of technology.
Exhibit a proven passion for design and eagerness to collaborate with other technology professionals.

Required Qualifications

Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent education or work experience.
1+ years of full-stack software development on web and client/server solutions.
Proficiency with Microsoft Tech Stack: SQL Server, Microsoft Azure, Azure DevOps (ADO), C#, Flutter, and .NET Framework.
Expertise in C# and Visual Studio.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Deep understanding of developing web services.
Experience with DevOps tools (Azure DevOps/GitHub).
Ability to provide examples of past completed projects.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Management Information Systems, or equivalent education.
Deep understanding of developing web services, C#, Visual Studio, HTML, CSS, PHP, Svelte, and JavaScript.
Experience in cloud development.
Familiarity with developing mobile applications and application programming interfaces.
