Minnesota Loan Officer – SBA 504 Lending
WBD, one of the nation’s leading Certified Development Companies (CDCs), is expanding its Minnesota Loan Officer team as part of its long-term growth strategy. This position offers a unique opportunity to help grow WBD’s Minnesota presence while building strong relationships with lenders, business owners, and referral partners throughout the state.
This position may be based anywhere in Minnesota and will initially operate remotely. WBD currently maintains a Minnesota office in Stillwater and may consider additional office locations in the future as growth and business needs warrant

Job Summary
Drive SBA 504 loan production by developing and maintaining strategic relationships with banks, credit unions, economic development organizations, business owners, and other referral partners. Serve as the primary point of contact throughout the lending process, orchestrating internal teams and guiding transactions from initial prospecting to successful closing.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or related field is required
- Minimum two years of commercial lending, business banking, relationship management, or related financial services experience.
- SBA lending experience preferred.
- Strong business development and relationship management skills.
- Credit analysis or underwriting experience preferred.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
- Valid driver’s license.
