Field Service Technician Job Profile and Description
Our field service technicians are individuals who perform repair work by traveling to various sites around Minnesota, North Dakota and Wisconsin. Their job is to troubleshoot any problems arising with electronic and mechanical equipment. Our field service technicians work in our organization specializing in the swimming pool ,hot tub and sauna industry - You will work along with a group of other service technicians and managers.
Field Service Technician Duties and Responsibilities
The various duties and responsibilities required to be carried out by our field service technicians. They are as follows:
- Testing and repairing equipments by travelling to the location of the customer
- Providing troubleshooting as well performing installation of equipments
- Attending to the needs of the customer whenever required
- Performing the confirmation that the equipment is functional
- Sometimes they have to provide telephone support to the customer in order to perform troubleshooting
- Providing onsite services for individual as well as organizations
- Ensuring that the equipment on which they have performed troubleshooting are in proper working condition
- New Installations - Heavy lifting will be required, however we utilize equipment as much as possible
Field Service Technician Skills and Specifications
The skills and specifications required for a field service technician are as follows:
- Must have the ability to work independently or with less supervision
- Ability to maintain a organized mobile service van
- Needs to possess excellent troubleshooting skills
- Must have good customer service skills
- Ability to maintain good relations with customers
- Should have excellent verbal communication skills
- Must have the ability to work under pressure
- Ability to manage service calls
- Should not get frustrated at work
Field Service Technician Qualification:
The qualifications required for a field service technician are:
- Technical experience with electrical and mechanical equipment
- Must have drivers license and pass all background checks
- Must have basic knowledge in computers
- Drug free

Field Service Technician Salary:

Swimming Pool Builder / Hot Tub Service and Delivery:
Along with a dominant Hot Tub business, we build all types of Swimming Pools. We have in house crews consisting of excavation, plumbing and build. We build all types of swimming pools.
