Overview

We are seeking a friendly and professional Hostess / Busser to join our dynamic team. This role is essential in creating a welcoming environment for our guests and ensuring smooth restaurant operations. The ideal candidate will have experience in hosting or bussing, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to communicate effectively via phone. This paid position offers an opportunity to develop hospitality skills in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage seating arrangements efficiently
Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, including bussing tables promptly
Assist servers by delivering food and beverages as needed
Communicate with guests and team members clearly via phone to handle reservations or inquiries
Follow food safety standards to ensure a safe dining environment
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest needs courteously and professionally
Support overall restaurant operations to ensure a positive guest experience

Skills

Previous experience as a host/hostess or busser is preferred
Strong communication skills, including phone etiquette and clarity in conversation
Knowledge of food safety practices and standards
Excellent customer service orientation with a friendly demeanor
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with team members
Flexibility to adapt to various tasks and responsibilities as needed

Pay: $15.55 - $20.00 per hour
