Full Job Description

Location: Worthy Brewing | Bend, OR

Compensation: Starting at $22.00/hour + event gratuity participation

Position Type: Full-Time

Worthy Brewing is looking for a Banquet Cook to join our growing culinary team.

This role will work closely with our Head Chef and will be primarily focused on supporting private events, banquets, weddings, corporate functions, and other special events. As our events business continues to grow, we're looking for someone who enjoys the fast-paced and dynamic nature of event execution while maintaining high standards of quality and presentation.

In addition to event responsibilities, this position may assist with daily kitchen operations and provide leadership support on the line when events are not taking place.

What You'll Do

Prepare and execute food for private events and banquets
Assist with event setup, service, and breakdown
Maintain quality, consistency, and presentation standards
Work alongside the Head Chef to execute event menus
Support daily kitchen operations as needed
Serve as a lead cook during regular service when assigned
Follow food safety and sanitation standards at all times
Help ensure smooth communication between the kitchen and events teams

What We're Looking For

Previous kitchen experience required
Banquet, catering, or high-volume experience preferred
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and event-driven schedules
Positive attitude and willingness to jump in where needed

Compensation & Benefits

Starting wage of $22.00/hour
