Full Job Description

Senior Accountant
Our client is seeking a Senior Accountant who combines strong technical accounting knowledge with curiosity, sound judgment, and a collaborative approach. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented professional who enjoys solving complex accounting challenges, takes initiative, and is eager to learn while partnering across the organization and gaining exposure to senior leadership.

This is a hybrid role working 3 days on-site per week in Bend, Oregon.

Senior Accountant Responsibilities

Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities, including consolidations, eliminations, financial statement preparation, and analytical review.
Research and apply U.S. GAAP guidance to complex transactions, with an emphasis on lease accounting, business combinations, and revenue recognition.
Prepare complex reconciliations, journal entries, supporting schedules, financial reports, and related accounting documentation.
Support external audits, including preparation of workpapers, financial statement disclosures, footnotes, and responses to auditor requests.
Partner across the business on accounting initiatives, process improvements, ERP enhancements, and implementation of new accounting standards.

Senior Accountant Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience preferred.
Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and experience with ASC 842 lease accounting and ASC 805 business combinations; familiarity with ASC 606 revenue recognition is also desired.
CPA or CMA certification strongly preferred, with public accounting experience highly valued.
Experience with financial reporting, consolidations, technical accounting, reconciliations, and audit support within a structured accounting environment.
Proficiency with ERP and financial reporting systems; NetSuite and Oracle EPM experience are preferred, along with solid Excel skills.

Salary: $85K-$90K/year + Bonus. (DOE)
