First Contact and Marketing Specialist
Sunlight Solar Energy is the oldest and best solar electric company in Central, Oregon. We have installed hundreds of solar electric systems creating thousands of kWh’s of green power. We will install thousands more.
The primary responsibility of this position is to be the first point of contact for our customers – who call us – and provide honest and technical information.We train. That information is handed off to our System Designers and information logged in.
Secondarily, we need a web and social media expert. Keep our new website up to date with pictures and dialog. Our social media presence is important and needs constant updating.
Finally, our community presence via, sweatshirts, hats, sun shirts and signs, etc. are to be kept aesthetic and up to date.

- Serve as the primary contact via the phone for all incoming inquiries
- Log all information into our Customer Tracker
- Get electric bill information from customers
- Prepare Estimates for our System Designers
- Develop and implement existing and new branding campaigns
- Monitor and analyze marketing performance metrics
- Create compelling content for social media, newsletters, and promotional materials
- Organize events and promotional activities.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with a knack for storytelling
- Proficiency in social media platforms and digital marketing tools
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment
Your Experience:
- Experience in customer service or a related field
- Familiarity with basic graphic design and customer contact software
- Ability to use Excel for logging information
- Previous experience in marketing or public relations
- Social Marketing skills.
