OsteoStrong of Central Oregon is a wellness center with an office in Bend that specializes in time-efficient musculoskeletal strengthening. OsteoStrong is seen and noted by top health professionals across the nation as the best way to strengthen bone.
Our work environment is warm, encouraging, supportive, upbeat and fun. Previous or continued education in the health field would be an advantage but is not required. We provide extensive training, equipping our session coaches with all the skills needed to excel and succeed.
The ideal candidate has excellent customer service and communication skills along with a passion for health and wellness. A session coach should have an interest in training and coaching clients in an encouraging and supportive manner. The environment we create for our members is paramount; we strive to provide a welcoming environment with exceptional customer service and a sensitivity to focus on individual client needs. This position has opportunities to utilize any sales/marketing/social media background.
Qualifications:
- Background in some form of fitness, with clear understanding of body mechanics
- Enthusiastic, kind, compassionate and reliable
- Willing and able to complete online and on-the-job training
- Script memorization
- Believes in and follows a healthy lifestyle
- Enjoys continual learning and applying their knowledge about health and wellness
- A team player that is happy to help wherever and however needed
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a service-oriented outlook
- Ability to work independently as well as on a team
- PC skills, Internet, Microsoft Office and Power Point skills and a quick learner with computer programs for billing, scheduling, Canva graphics, etc.
- Comfortable with internet and social media platforms like Facebook
- Thorough understanding of company policies and coaching safety practices
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to move and/or lift heavy items, up to 25 lbs.
- Prolonged periods of time on your feet while coaching
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and engage clients in a positive and friendly manner
- Answer phones and schedule appointments take payments
- Provide the highest level of client/customer service and hospitality to all clients/prospective clients
- Guide prospective clients through appointments
- Manage members baseline markers
- Take clients through recurring appointments according to OsteoStrong standards and training
- Deliver Spectrum(osteogenic loading)
- Personal training of X3 bar classes(most effective weight training developed by Dr Jaquish)
- Complete center tours with prospects and new members
- Assist Management with day-to-day operations of the center
- Ensure prompt response to center emails when needed
- Understand OsteoStrong services, policies and procedures for operations
- Actively maintain center cleanliness and organization
- Complete opening and/or closing duties as needed
- Event planning and preparation duties
- Available to work weekends. Willing to work booth/festival events
- Front desk receptionist duties working with CRM(customer relations management system)
- Maintain center equipment
- Work with social media department to supply content

Full time/part time and Saturdays
6 month probationary period
Wages: $19 to 21/hour, with 6 month probation period
