Full Job Description

The Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation at Hoosick Falls is seeking an experienced Business Office Manager to join its team.

This role includes Business Office Manager and Accounts Receivable.

We are looking for someone who is energetic, organized and wants to grow with our company!

Excellent customer service is a must!

The Business Office Manager accurately maintains the general ledger accounting system and presents a timely report of the financial performance of the facility.

Accounts Receivable:

· Oversees the business office.

· Receives miscellaneous remittances, checks and cash and post to appropriate account.

· Prepares for the deposit into appropriate bank account receipts of the facility and their affiliated business.

· Verify accuracy of returned deposit ticket to daily cash receipts journal.

· Prepares daily report of cash balances.

· Prepare all information required for Medicaid.

· Prepares for Medicaid state audit.

· Prepares and transmits the monthly Medicaid and Hospice Billing.

· Submits Medicare 210, monthly skill resident, and the drop in level of care.

· Maintains and oversees resident rush account.

· Prepares the daily census.

· Reviews monthly aging, and collection letters.

· Reviews remittance advice.

· Maintains on a current basis postings to fixed asset/ depreciation system. Reviews calculation periodically and recommend adjustments to the monthly depreciation entry if appropriate.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
