Full Job Description

Battenkill Valley Health Center is seeking a proficient and responsible, part-time phlebotomist. The ideal candidate is a flexible team player, who is attentive to details, can work independently, and demonstrates excellent customer service skills while exercising sound judgement in a fast-paced primary care setting.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Collection of specimens ordered by providers that will aid in the detection, diagnosis and treatment of disease.
Performing all phlebotomy procedures in accordance with BVHC Policies and Procedures.
Accurately identifying patient and collecting appropriate specimens.
Maintaining specimen integrity by collecting and transporting specimens in a timely manner.
Completing accurate and appropriate documentation.
Ordering and maintaining lab supplies.
Assisting the Medical Clinic Manager with vaccine management.
Other duties to support the Clinical Team.

EHR experience required | Microsoft Office experience required | Experience working within a medical practice preferred
