Overview

Join our dynamic finance team as an AP/AR Clerk, where you'll play a vital role in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring smooth accounts payable and receivable processes. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your expertise in accounting systems, financial software, and corporate accounting practices while supporting our commitment to transparency and efficiency. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will help drive our financial operations forward with precision and enthusiasm.

Responsibilities

Process Invoices: Verify and code vendor invoices, employee expense reports, and purchase orders.
Manage Disbursements: Schedule payments and execute transactions via ACH, checks, wire transfers, or credit cards.
Vendor Relations: Reconcile monthly vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.

Accounts Receivable (AR) Duties

Generate Invoices: Prepare and send accurate invoices to clients.
Payment Processing: Record and apply incoming payments to correct customer accounts.
Collections: Track overdue invoices and follow up with customers on past-due balances.

General Accounting & Reporting

Reconciliation: Reconcile AP and AR transactions with the General Ledger.
Month-End Support: Assist with closing procedures and report on AP/AR aging summaries.
Compliance: Maintain accurate historical files and uphold internal financial controls.

Requirements

Education: Associate degree in Accounting or Finance required.
Experience: 1–3 years in an accounting support or bookkeeping role.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Accounting Software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite) and strong Microsoft Excel capabilities.

Hours

Tuesday- Friday: 8:30am-5pm

Saturday 9am-2pm
