Full Job Description

Wellington Woods Memory Care is a 40-bed assisted living level II facility that specializes solely in providing memory care for residents suffering from various forms of dementia including Alzheimer's Disease, Parkinson's, Huntington's, Lewy Body, and/or other cognitive deficits. The facility is nestled in the area of the Villages of Wellington near the Fellowship Bible Church and Primrose School of West Little Rock.

We are searching for a highly dedicated and motivated LPN -or- RN to serve as our Resident Services Director (or "Director of Nursing"). This is a tremendous opportunity as this is a nice, small assisted living facility!

Long term care experience and/or experience working with individuals with various forms of dementia is desired, but not absolutely necessary for the right candidate.

Individuals applying for this position are most likely very aware of all of the very important responsibilities of this position. It is a position that often requires long hours, calls around the clock, scheduling direct care staff and filling in if staff can not be at the facility for a shift. PointClickCare is the EHR software that will be used for this facility. Assessments, Health Care Service Plans, Individualized Service Plans, etc. must be completed in an accurate and timely manner. With the potential census of only 40 residents, the Resident Services Director should be very aware of each and every resident's health conditions, needs, etc. and be able to keep the responsible parties well-informed. The successful candidate will typically work at this facility Mon-Fri on the day shift managing the nursing department, which at times will also include serving as the charge nurse providing nursing care and medication administration for our residents.
