Partner Development Representative

Help Shape the Future of Healthcare Education

About AAH and the Role

At AAH, we’re focused on improving healthcare nationwide by empowering individuals to achieve national certification and strengthen the healthcare workforce in every community. We’re looking for a relationship-driven and growth-minded Partner Development Representative (PDR) to help expand access to AAH’s certification programs by building meaningful partnerships with schools, training programs, healthcare organizations, and workforce development partners.

This role sits at the center of our partner growth strategy - driving organizational growth through relationship development, managing the full sales funnel from inbound and outbound lead generation through onboarding handoff, and supporting strategic sales opportunities. The PDR will also contribute to marketing initiatives, sales content development, conference representation, and continuous improvement efforts that strengthen how AAH engages with prospective and current partners.

You’ll play a key role in expanding AAH’s reach by owning the partner acquisition process for assigned accounts, collaborating with the Sales & Marketing Manager on strategic opportunities, and bringing valuable market insights back to the team to improve our processes, messaging, and partner experience.

This position reports to the Sales and Marketing Manager.

The ideal candidate is a relationship-driven, organized, and proactive professional who can identify opportunities, build trust with prospective partners, and collaborate across teams to improve the customer experience. This individual is energized by connecting with people, enjoys solving problems, and is passionate about supporting American Allied Health's mission of expanding access to healthcare career opportunities.

What You'll Do

Sales Funnel & Lead Management

Serve as the primary owner of the partner acquisition process for assigned accounts, managing the sales pipeline from lead generation through partnership commitment and a seamless onboarding handoff to the Partner Success Coordinator.
Manage inbound leads, conduct outbound prospecting, and leverage market research to identify, qualify, and develop new partnership opportunities.
Collaborate with the Sales & Marketing Manager on high-value and strategic partnership opportunities by supporting relationship development, executive engagement, customized growth strategies, and successful partnership outcomes.
Maintain accurate CRM records, track sales activity and pipeline progression, and ensure timely follow-up with prospective partners.

Relationship Development & Outreach

Build and maintain relationships with prospective partners
Identify opportunities to expand partnerships through additional certifications, services, or engagement opportunities.
Maintain consistent follow-up to move opportunities forward

Marketing Support & Content Collaboration

Support marketing campaigns, newsletters, and partner communications
Collaborate with management to generate blog and content ideas that highlight industry trends and company expertise
Assist with content strategy by sharing market insights, feedback, and audience needs

Conference & Brand Representation

Represent American Allied Health at industry conferences and trade shows acting as a brand ambassador promoting AAH’s mission and values, 6-8 weeks of travel per year approximately
Collect leads, engage attendees, and follow up post-event

Cross-functional Collaboration and Continuous Improvement

Partner with the Sales & Marketing Manager on strategic accounts by providing prospect research, relationship insights, meeting support, and coordinated follow-up to advance partnership opportunities.
Collaborate with Operations, Member Services, and Partner Success teams to support partner success.
Participate in process improvement initiatives that increase efficiency, improve partner experience, and support organizational growth.
Support documentation and refinement of sales processes, workflows, and best practices.
Bring a growth mindset by proactively identifying opportunities to improve how AAH attracts and supports partners
Provide backup support for Partner Success during peak seasons
Support strategic initiatives and special projects that advance AAH's mission and organizational goals.

2+ years in sales, business development, account management, recruiting, admissions, customer success, or relationship management

2+ years in advanced Excel report creation and maintenance
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced environment
