Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Warehouse Inbound Supervisor to lead our inbound logistics operations. In this vital role, you will oversee the receipt, inspection, and processing of incoming shipments, ensuring seamless integration into our warehouse distribution network. Your leadership will drive process improvements, maintain inventory accuracy, and uphold safety standards to support our fast-paced e-commerce and 3PL (Third-Party Logistics) operations. Duties

Supervise daily inbound activities including shipping & receiving, materials handling, and heavy lifting operations using forklifts and other mechanical equipment
Coordinate with carriers, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods into the warehouse
Manage inventory control processes within the warehouse management system (WMS) platforms to maintain precise stock levels
Lead a team of warehouse associates, providing training onsafety standards, forklift operation, and materials handling procedures
Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency in inbound workflows and reduce errors or delays
Conduct regular inspections of inbound shipments for quality assurance and compliance with safety regulations
Collaborate with logistics teams to optimize warehouse distribution strategies and support shipping & receiving functions

Requirements

Proven experience in warehouse supervision with a focus on inbound logistics and inventory management
Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), AS400, and materials handling equipment including forklifts
Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and best practices in heavy lifting and mechanical operations
Excellent team management skills with the ability to motivate staff and foster a safety-first culture
Experience working within e-commerce or 3PL environments is highly desirable
Mechanical knowledge related to warehouse equipment operation is a plus
Ability to perform physical tasks including heavy lifting while maintaining safety protocols
Prior experience with shipping & receiving procedures, inventory control, and process improvement initiatives
