Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Flow Worker or Machine Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining various industrial machines to ensure efficient production processes. Your expertise will help us deliver high-quality products while adhering to safety standards and optimizing workflow. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced environment that values precision, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

Operate a variety of manufacturing equipment including plastics extrusion machines, plastics blow molding machines, injection molding presses, CNC lathes, CNC machines, and press brake machinery.
Conduct quality inspections using measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments to ensure products meet specifications.
Troubleshoot mechanical issues and perform basic maintenance on industrial equipment to minimize downtime.
Handle materials safely using forklifts and other warehouse equipment, ensuring proper materials handling and storage procedures.
Assist in fabrication and assembly tasks, utilizing hand tools and fabrication techniques to support production needs.
Follow lean manufacturing principles to optimize workflow efficiency and reduce waste.
Document production data accurately, including measurements, machine settings, and quality control results for record-keeping and process improvement.

Requirements

Proven experience operating manufacturing machinery such as plastics extrusion lines, injection molding presses, CNC lathes, or similar equipment.
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot industrial equipment issues effectively.
Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for machine automation control.
Ability to perform precision measurements using calipers, micrometers, and other measurement instruments for quality inspection purposes.
Experience with materials handling equipment like forklifts; forklift certification is preferred.
Basic math skills necessary for measuring, calculations, and quality assessments.
Knowledge of plastics processing techniques including blow molding and injection molding is a plus.
Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment while following all safety protocols.
Warehouse experience and familiarity with lean manufacturing practices are advantageous.
