Full Job Description

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Property Manager to oversee the daily operations of our residential and commercial properties. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that properties are well-maintained, tenants are satisfied, and all operations comply with relevant laws and regulations. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent customer service abilities, and a thorough understanding of property management practices.

Duties

Manage the day-to-day operations of assigned properties, ensuring they are maintained to high standards.
Develop and implement property management strategies to enhance tenant satisfaction and retention.
Oversee tenant relations, addressing concerns and resolving conflicts in a timely manner.
Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations and other relevant laws.
Utilize Yardi software for managing property records, tenant information, and financial transactions.
Conduct regular inspections of properties to identify maintenance needs and coordinate repairs with facilities management teams.
Prepare budgets, financial reports, and forecasts for property performance.
Implement upselling strategies to maximize rental income and occupancy rates.
Maintain accurate administrative records related to leases, contracts, and tenant communications.
Foster positive relationships with tenants through effective customer relationship management.

Requirements

Proven experience in property management or a related field.
Strong knowledge of Fair Housing regulations and property management laws.
Proficiency in Yardi or similar property management software is preferred.
Excellent customer service skills with a focus on tenant satisfaction.
Strong conflict management abilities to effectively handle disputes or issues that arise.
Solid organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Familiarity with facilities management practices is a plus.
Strong administrative skills including attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
